Lorenzo Terrière

Lorenzo is an Assistant and PhD candidate at the Department of Political Science at Ghent University. He holds a master’s degree in EU-Studies (2010, Ghent Uni.), Business Economics (2011, Ghent Uni.) and European and International Law (2016, Free University Brussels). His main research interest concerns the comparative study of party ideology. He currently prepares a PhD dissertation on this topic within the framework of federal political systems. As a teaching assistant, he is involved in the support of different academic courses such as Contemporary issues in Political Sciences and Content analysis, as well as the guidance of students in writing their master’s thesis. Previously, Lorenzo Terrière worked as a policy advisor in the Belgian Parliament and in the Federal Government.
